The Alerta Sapphire 2 is an alternating pressure mattress replacement system for medium-risk residents. It suits care homes and nursing homes.
The Optima Prone is a specialist mattress for the relatively unusual clinical scenario of nursing a resident in the prone (face-down) position, often used in respiratory care. This is a distinct clinical need from standard supine pressure care and the mattress is designed and priced accordingly.
