Ultra low profiling beds are designed for residents at high risk of falling out of bed. Lowering to near-floor level — typically 15–20cm — dramatically reduces the height of any fall and is widely used in nursing homes and specialist dementia care as part of a comprehensive falls prevention strategy.
Trade2Care stocks ultra low beds from Harvest, Alerta, Drive Devilbiss and Wellell. All beds are 4-section electric with backrest, knee break and height adjustment. Compatible with crash mats, cot sides and most pressure care mattress systems.
