Bariatric 2 Replacement System

The Alerta Bariatric 2 is a heavy-duty replacement alternating pressure mattress rated to 350kg, with SensaCare Truflo auto pressure-sensing technology. It suits bariatric hospitals, nursing and care homes.

The Bariatric 2 is built for very-high-risk bariatric users, with a genuine 350kg weight capacity and a 120cm-wide surface — significantly wider than a standard 90cm mattress, giving larger residents proper room without being compressed against the bed frame. SensaCare Truflo Technology continuously senses pressure through an air sensor and microcomputer regulator, automatically maintaining ultra-low interface pressure rather than relying on a fixed manual setting. Cell-on-cell, independently removable, covert-sealed air cells mean a puncture in one cell won't cause the whole mattress to fail, and removable heel cells allow targeted heel offloading. A static base section, CPR quick-release, and transport mode round out a genuinely feature-complete bariatric system.
