The Winncare Severn Universal Sling is a UK-manufactured patient sling designed for versatile use across a wide range of hoisting and transfer scenarios. Available in multiple sizes and fabric options, and manufactured to BSEN10535 standards, it combines material quality, comfort, and full LOLER traceability to meet the demands of care homes, hospitals, and community care environments.

Available in Five Materials — The Severn is available in five fabric options to suit different clinical and environmental requirements:

• Quilted Teal Polyester — Quilted with padding for extra patient comfort during transfers
• Grey Mesh Polyester — Recommended for bathing and pool use; breathable and functional
• Teal Solid Polyester — Multi-functional use; smooth knitted finish
• Black Spacer Fabric — Padded, breathable, stretch material with pressure-reducing properties
• Blue Parasilk — Woven polyester with smooth feel and quick-dry performance

LOLER Compliant & Traceable — Every Severn sling carries a woven label with an individual serial number and maximum weight rating, making it fully LOLER conformable and supporting the traceability requirements of planned maintenance and inspection programmes. The wash-proof label is designed to last the full working life of the sling when used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
