Designed for bariatric patients at high risk of pressure ulcers, it combines a castellated foam surface with a sturdy U-shaped foam base for superior pressure redistribution, postural support, and patient comfort.
The castellated zones are shaped smaller at the head and foot ends to maximise pressure redistribution in the most vulnerable areas, with larger castellations in the centre to manage mainstream patient weight effectively. Channel cuts between castellations ensure constant airflow around the patient, assisting in temperature regulation and improving comfort and sleep quality.
