The Marsden M-600 is one of the only legally approved hoist weighing attachments available in the UK, being Class III and MDD approved. Designed for patients who cannot stand, it fits directly onto coat-hanger style spreader bars of most hoists, enabling accurate in-sling weighing with minimal disruption to the patient. Its lightweight 6 kg body makes it portable and easy to handle between rooms and facilities.
Safety clips retain the sling straps to ensure precise, repeatable readings. The full numeric keypad supports Hold, Tare, and BMI calculation functions, with auto power-off after 3 minutes of inactivity. The internal rechargeable battery delivers 40+ hours of continuous use (3,000+ weigh-ins). Optional Bluetooth or Wi-Fi modules enable seamless data transfer to electronic patient record systems.
