The SLK Carry Compact is a German-built electric mobile hoist with a 160kg safe working load and an exceptionally short chassis for narrow rooms and doorways. Folding without tools, it suits home care, care homes and paediatric transfers.
The SLK Carry Compact is the small-footprint member of SLK's German-engineered Carry range, sharing the same build quality and gentle soft-start/soft-stop lifting as the Carry 185 Classic in a shorter, lighter chassis. With an overall width of just 550mm and a compact 1030mm length, it is designed for the tightest doorways, corridors and bedrooms where a full-size hoist simply won't fit making it a favourite for domestic adaptations and community care. Its 160kg safe working load and 1.7m maximum user height suit smaller adults and paediatric clients, and it still lifts from floor level for fall recovery. The lithium-ion battery is rated for up to 2000 lifetime charges and 70–100 lifts per charge, and the whole hoist folds and splits without tools for storage or transport in a car. Backed by a 3-year general warranty, the Carry Compact is the go-to choice where space is the binding constraint.
