The Alerta Wireless Floor+ Alertamat is a robust, long-life pressure mat designed to be placed at the bedside or doorway. It activates a wireless nurse-call alert when a user steps on the mat, immediately notifying caregivers that the user has left their safe zone. Its light colour makes it particularly suited to dementia care settings where a user may attempt to avoid darker mats.
The system connects to a centralised nurse-call network via the Alerta Wall Point Receiver, or operates independently for localised in-room alerts. The receiver volume can be silenced for quiet operation when integrated with a nurse-call system.
Key Features
- Wireless connect-and-play — no cables required, safe and versatile
- Dementia-friendly light colour to reduce avoidance behaviour
- Large 60 × 90 cm size minimises the chance of overstepping
- Long-lasting welded seals and reinforced wiring for durability
- Hygienic antibacterial easy-clean surface material
- Genuine non-slip base
- Compatible with centralised nurse-call systems or standalone via Wall Point Receiver
Ideal For
- Care homes and nursing homes requiring discreet, cable-free fall detection at the bedside or doorway
- Dementia settings where user compliance and visibility are key considerations
- Settings with existing nurse-call infrastructure or as a standalone localised alert system
- Wards and rooms where silent in-room operation is required
