Side Rail Kit for Junior Bed

While the Bradshaw Junior Profiling Bed provides great comfort and adaptability for patient in care environments, some additional bed fall safety may be needed for models without included side rails. This Side Rail Kit includes all rails and fixings needed to fit a Bradshaw Junior Bed with side rails, helping to reduce the risk of patient falls and enhance peace of mind.

What's Included?

This kit includes all parts necessary to outfit your bed with side rails, including:

• 6 x Blue side rails (3 for each side of the bed)
• 1 x Full set of side rail fingers and fixings (necessary for attachment to bed)

What's the Benefit of Side Rails?

Many patients will be at risk of falls from bed, and while proper care and crash mattresses can alleviate this risk, side rails provide a more secure barrier. These side rails will provide protection at either side of the patient's bed, helping to reduce the risk of falls as a result of rolling over in bed.

Are the Side Rails Adjustable?

Yes, these side rails can be raised and lowered depending on the preference of the patient and care team. When lowered the rails will be level with the mattress platform, allowing for easy entry and exit of the bed.
